My name is Cara and this is my loveable Rhodesian Ridgeback, Abner. Abner is a very social and I’ll admit it, spoiled girl who loves to hang out in the kitchen. I like to think she sits there to be with me, but I’m pretty sure she’s just there for the food scraps.
My interest in food started when I was about eight years old and the only two things on my Christmas list were a KitchenAid mixer and Easy Bake Oven. I couldn’t stay out of the kitchen. Thank goodness my parents trusted me enough to whip up whatever I saw on Food Network that day!
Right after high school, I was ready to take on culinary school where I graduated with my associate’s degree in baking and pastry arts. I have gained experience over the years in different bakeries and restaurants, but I found that I am truly passionate about recipe development, food writing and sharing my recipes with other foodies.
